Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

FYI: Problem with audio in Chrome (flash) is a known problem with Chrome. Disable Chrome's built-in flash and install official Adobe flash player.

Go to: chrome://plugins/

As far as updating to Mavericks, just be sure to follow the guide here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook-mavericks/112380-guide-installing-mavericks-hp-probook.html

I think you may need to read up on adobe.com to troubleshoot your issue. This site is for OS X support, not Adobe Flash.

Note: When I tried it here, I ended up with two plugins (the one from Chrome and the one downloaded). I had to enable the one that was just downloaded.

As far as audio, you must have not followed the guide. You need a correctly patched DSDT to have audio. Which guide (bootloader) are you using?

As far as WiFi, AR9485 is not supported. Read post #1 here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook-mavericks/112383-guide-install-mavericks-clover-bootloader.html
