Fresh Yosemite/clover install - blank grey screen before install starts

4430 / i7 Sandy Bridge / hd3000 / v60 bios

have tried all 3 hd3000 config.plist files

initial install hangs - mouse active - have let it sit 10+ minutes

any ideas?

There is only one config.plist appropriate for your laptop.

Post EFI/Clover folder.

Also, post output from 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

I didn't request a file listing of your EFI/Clover folder.

Request was for actual folder. Compress as ZIP and attach.

It looks fine. Keep in mind booting the installer is not quick. Patience is required.

If you have some sort of unexpected graphics issue (some machines do), set config.plist/Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX=0x01228086 (desktop HD3000, not supported natively). You can also set it in the Clover GUI.

Or you can plug in an HDMI monitor for the install...

Try all USB ports also. USB3 ports are problematic (your lspci shows NEC/Renasas USB3).

i got the same problem but with el capitan, build in signature.
