hello folks

I've managed to get the yosemite working in dual boot with win7 via clover, everything was great at the beggining but after a couple of days my integrated screen refused to work, I can boot into the OS X with my hdmi monitor but the system doesnt recognize the laptop screen at all, if I boot without the monitor plugged in I just get a loading screen that loads up and then the screen turns black

any advices? thanks a ton

Your config.plist is a mess.

Note: If you have a supported ProBook/EliteBook, you should be following the guide (see sticky at the top of the forum).
 
I have exactly the same problem, it appears especially when activate -> config and DSDT patcher ->HP laptop ->business model ->6x70b (intel)

i have changed version of clover, i have repatch dsdt , verified the config.plist on your gihub.
the problem persist : the internal screen starts (we see the apple) and then goes out quietly. I have to connect an external monitor! I think the problem is the patch DSDT.aml

config : probook 6570b
HD 40000
8gig memory
low resolution
intel core i5

help me please :)
 
aparently this is the brightness that decreases max (black screen) at start of probook !!! how to fix this problem ?

so I've adjusted my config.plist with the Rehabman's template and now I'm getting kernel panic type 13, tried safe mode with the same outcome so I can't even access the system

oh well

You probably made incorrect edits to your config.plist.

You should be using the ProBook Installer to create your config.plist.
 
I have this issue. My setup of Yosemite has been working flawlessly since Yosemite was released.

I'm using a 4540s and updated to 10.10.1 fine last week. Thursday morning for some reason the screen was blank and now I can only see the display via HDMI out.

I I have no idea why this suddenly occurred. On boot up the screen fades to black as the White bar progresses under the logo and usually at the point it would click to proper resolution.

I have it it attached via HDMI to an interactive whiteboard all week.
