Hi,
A friend of mine has a HP Pro Book 4530s that has successfully been running OSX 10.9.1.
He uses it mainly for tethered capture on photo shoots for his photography business.
Recently he went on a shoot and managed to fill up the hard drive with photo's, since then he has no longer been
able to boot into OSX. It simply fades to black just after the apple screen, and does the exact same with verbose mode,
so its hard to see what is wrong as the text does not linger on the screen.
The worrying thing is it sort of happened over night, one day it work and the next it didn't.
Has anyone come across this issue?
Here is a link to two video files showing exactly what is happening:

Seeing as its a friends i do not know the exact details of the install but i am thinking a fresh install from the guide may be worth a try.
As for specs i can only list what he has given me:
HP ProBook 4530s 15.6"
OSX 10.9.1
Intel Core i3 2nd Gen
2.1ghz
60GB ssd
500GB HDD (in dvd drive slot)
(im assuming HD 3000)
Thanks
