So my main issue, thus far is how scrolling isn't smooth like on an actual mac.

Has anyone discovered a way to make trackpad scrolling more mac-like?

what exactly do you mean?
Is it working at Windows? (I mean, smoothens)
If not, nothing we can do.
It is different hardware than the MacBook's and it can not be correct it via software.

It's not rough, it just doesn't continue after the initial scrolling as an actual macbook does. It stays in line with your fingers making scrolling quickly difficult.

I think the smoothing and the bounce while scrolling is just a graphic effect that becomes enabled while you have certain USB-Connected Trackpad.

Our trackpad is PS2.

However, if we find the actual value in IOReg that sets if the smooth scrolling & bounce enabled/disable, it will be a piece of cake to enable it via DSDT.

I actually don't have a Trackpad that support gestures, so we will need the collaboration of one person who actually buyed the Magic Trackpad.

If one here has a real mac OR an hackintosh with Magic Trackpad, please post a screenshot of the info stored in IOREG about the device.

Perhaps we should start a thread called trackpad project to try to enable that?

I have an Apple Magic Mouse and I think would be ok for this.
What exactly do you need?

EDIT:
Check the picture below and let me now if you can find something useful there.

Install 'Smart Scroll', it's iPhone like scrolling for Mac.

I'll try, but if it's possible i would use a vanilla one.

I like smart scroll, but as Masso said, a vanilla option is definitely preferred.

I feel like if we accomplish this, it would also allow us to possibly have other gestures our tack pad supports, not to mention we'd be off of voodoops2 I think.
