Hi All,

As the title says, I have built the Custo Mac Mini 2012 with the following spec:

Gigabyte Z77N-WiFi
Intel Core i5 3570k 3.4GHz
8GB Corsair Vengance Low Profile RAM
Sandisk Extreme 120GB SSD

It won't sleep. it sleeps with the modified DSDT for HDMI audio removed, but not with it in the Extras folder. It is as if the display does not work on wake. Does anyone have any ideas? I have Verified the Disk and run Kext Utility to no avail.

Thanks
Joe

Without adding the HDMI audio edits to the DSDT? Literally extract then drop into extras folder?
Yes. Compile it and install dsdt.aml in Extra. Your hypothesis is flawed. Too many variables, not enough tests to make any conclusions.

With the DSDT extracted from DSDT editor and put in place, there is no issue, sleep works fine. As soon as I swap back to the HDMI audio DSDT there is no wake, but obviously HDMI audio works fine before sleep.

Attach both dsdts.

This is the Extracted DSDT, sleep works fine with this in place:

This is the Z77N-WiFi DSDT from the resource on here:
Thanks. When convenient, a few more experiments. For each folder, install the dsdt, restart and indicate Sleep (y/n) and HDMI audio (y/n). Note, not all experimental dsdts have hdmi audio. Not required, but helpful, make a copy of IOReg for each experiment, save it to the respective folder and reply with a zip of the z77n_wifi_sleep folder and the sleep results. C worked, do you want me to check the others as well?

Do you want me to use IOReg for this DSDT?

Cheers!
