Hi all,
I was lucky enough to get the H77N-WIFI last week. So far it's a great mobo. I had to put some IMEI info into a DSDT to get the frambuffer working on my i3 2105 & 10.7.5 (http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/53925-qe-ci-hd3000-series-7-mainboards-2.html#post460625). I also used Toleda's HDMI patch and as expected, have HDMI audio. I added the ID for the ALC 892 into the DSDT and that is now working after installing the patched AppleHDA.
The only thing not working correct is sleep over HDMI. When I have the machine hooked up via DVI in my office, sleep/wake works fine. When I have it hooked up to my Denon receiver via HDMI, that's when I have issues.
Basically, I can sleep the machine and wake it via bluetooth, USB, or WoL but when it wakes on the Denon/TV, I get no video even thought the machine appears awake. I cannot access it via VNC either. It's like the machine is not awake at all. I'm trying to think of everything that would cause this issue. I had a very similar issue with my GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard and HD6870 where it would be a black screen on wake. The fix ended up being to remove my DSDT.
It wouldn't be possible for me to remove the DSDT in this situation because at the very least, it fixes my framebuffer issue. Further, HDMI audio is required for this box since it's an HTPC. I do not think it's an issue with my Denon because I had my previous mini ITX build (GA-H61N-USB3-F3 with the same proc) hooked up like this and it was working. I also, as a backup, have tested my GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 on this same setup and it doesn't suffer these issues.
While I still have to test the HDMI input on the monitor in my office, I am thinking this could be an issue with the HD3000 on a series 7 mobo. Could this be related to my HDMI audio edits? I've uploading my DSDT if you want to check it out. If I take out the HDMI edits, I don't seem to be having the problem, I'm still testing tho.
Thanks!
