OS X HDMI audio is not native with non native hardware.
Did you miss the sticky thread in this forum, the one right above this thread?

Why the cryptic answer? He wants help getting HDMI on his nVidia card, and if you cannot help, why are you responding?

I have a similar setup, and would like to have HDMI audio through my GPU also. Any helpful responses would be greatly appreciated. I have even tried editing the audio kext info.plist, but it's way above my head.

Are you running a GT 210?
Is onboard audio working? If yes, what method?
On board audio works like a charm, HDMI nVidia audio does not. My system specs are in my profile. I have everything working except HDMI out of my PCI-E card. Not a huge deal, but would be really convenient for hooking up to my receiver and TV.

Voodoo and AppleHDA are normally incompatible; significant work required to get them to work together. If you installed the technique you linked above, expect onboard audio to stop working.

The sticky mentioned above adds HDMI audio to working AppleHDA onboard audio.

Sorry for being very slow, but I'm very new to all this. Just built my first Hackintosh (GA-Z97X-5DH, EVGA GTX 960) using Multibeast. Just about everything seems to be working except for HDMI audio. The Sticky is very detailed, but – partly because of this – also a bit confusing for someone as unexperienced as I am. What would be the preferred method to follow with my setup? Any advice greatly appreciated!
