After replacing PSU, USB3 and Ethernet randomly disconnect

I just had to replace a failing PSU in my box and put in a new Coolermaster 1000W PSU. (previously had a ThermalTake 750W) Everything is back up running fine except now both ethernet and USB3 external drives will randomly disconnect. It's only for a moment, the drive remounts itself right away, but when in the middle of editing a project from that drive, this is a huge problem.

Has anyone encountered this before or has any ideas how to solve it?

Hardware: Asus Sabertooth x79, Intel I7 3930K, 32GB Corsair Vengeance, EGA Nvidia GTX 580
OS: Mavericks 10.9.3

This sounds an awful lot like a hardware issue more than a Hackintosh issue. RMA the power supply asap while you can. It's the logical place to start
