If anyone can help, please feel free to try to help me!

My System:
Asus P8Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt
i5 3570k with HD4000
16 GB Mushkin Ram
24" Asus 1920x1200 Monitor

I keep getting a scrambled screen when I first boot into ML. I can put it to sleep by hitting my power button, then hit the power button again to bring it out of sleep and the screen is fine; however, this is very annoying and I would like to get it working without doing this.

Here are some things that I have tried so far:

Via multibeast I installed 1080p boot screen - didn't work but made it look less scrambled.

With a previous monitor I went in to my .plist and edited the 1920x1080 to 1440x900 because that was the resolution of that monitor, which fixed the scrambled screen with that monitor. This made me think I could go in and edit the plist again to my new monitor's resolution. Didn't work. It wouldn't even boot to the tonymacx86 logo. I got the first screen attached. I can type -v or -x -v but it just runs some code and goes to the next attached screen. I even plugged in my unibeast flash drive thinking I could manually select my boot drive that way, which I was able to select it but it didn't matter because it wouldn't load and would cycle back to BIOS boot screen (or whatever that is called).

Im having a similar (not exact) issue, but I don't want to threadjack so I'll start my own. If I learn anything I'll come back and get ya

I have my screen fixed for good, with help from MiniITX. I doubt you are still having problems by this point, but if you are I would be glad to hear the problem and see if I can help.

i'm having the same problem when I change the resolution. I have to hit the power button for the screen to get fixed. If I find something Ill let you know.

Please let me know how you fixed this - I am struggling with the same scrambled video issue. What did MiniITX suggest to you that did the trick?

Thanks so much!

What bootloader are you using? I never got it to work with chimera 1.11.1. I did get it to work with clover, then I used chameleon alone, but now I use chimera 2.0.1. In your boot.plist add graphics mode="insert your resolution". Mine was 1920x1200x32. An easy way to do it is install 1080p via multibeast and then go in to the plist and manually change to your native resolution.

Hope this helps!
