Just another quick reminder for people with the new GeForce 6xx cards in 10.8 Mountain Lion. They work out of the box with full acceleration with native drivers and NO injection. This means that the standard default injection provided in Chimera (GraphicsEnabler) can be turned off. All MultiBeast Installations set your plist to Yes by default, so you'll have to check 1 extra box to set it to No.

To do this manually, navigate to /Extra.org.chameleon.boot.plist and edit with textedit.

EDIT: This applies to GeForce 7xx cards as well.

EDIT2: As of MultiBeast 6, GraphicsEnabler is set to No by default. ;)

noob question, but does this mean the graphics card wont be effected at all even tho it has no injection?

is there any other cards fully supported (graphics enabler = no) or is it limited to the nvidia 6** cards in 10.8
getting tired of my 450 fermi
was thinking of the new 660 when its released

it needs to support dual monitors one hdmi and either dvi/hdmi or display port
for a future build up5 and 3770k

Do you mean this applies to any GeForce 600 series graphic cards like gt 610, 620, 630....etc, working OOB with native drivers and no injection.

http://www.zotac.com/index.php?page...9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=100291&lang=en. Do you think this will work OOB?

Thank you

Katie

P.S. sorry about that, link updated. it's the ZOTAC GeForce® GT 630 Synergy Edition 4GB (ZT-60405-10L)

well i would assume you need a kepler card to be native, but i was asking in an earlier post if there is any other cards that can be used with graphics enabler = no
i think i read somewwhere that 6870 is native too (but i forget a lot of stuff at times)
