Just attempted the update and again the driver is broken.

FIX
Using Terminal enter the following:
sudo pico /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartup.kext/Contents/Info.plist

Then change the line
<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
<string>14C1510</string>
to
<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
<string>14C1514</string>

Press Control+O then enter to save the changes and then press Control+X to exit

Then enter the following two commands. Hit enter after each one
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
sudo kextcache -system-caches

Reboot.

Followed it to the letter, however it didn't work for me.

When I open the preferences panel, it still says 343.02.02f03 (Not compatible)

Worked perfectly. Thank you.

Hmmm.
Is it true that...
This fix is for already installed driver only. Right?

Yes, this would be a fix for the latest driver that was released after the last security update. The problem is that the drivers are designed to only run with specific OS X build numbers. All this does is change the build number that the driver is looking for.

Your signature mentions a GTX 960 so you must have the drivers installed to use that card.

Security Update 2013-003 Breaks NVIDIA Web Driver Again

I'm trying to install the web drivers for a new GTX 750 installation. I'm currently on 10.10.2 (14C1514). I've tried changing my SystemVersion.plist to reflect version 14C1510 in order to install WebDriver-343.02.02f03. Doing so allows the installation to complete, but I can't toggle the NVIDIA drivers as the preference pane says I'm running an incompatible OS version. Even changing the SystemVersion.plist back to 14C1514 to match the NVDIA Info.plist I get the same result.

Since I haven't been able to toggle the NVIDIA graphics on I haven't connected my 750 yet. If I do so so now I'll hang at the Apple logo. I'm using Clover and have nv
da_drv=1 and kext-dev-mode=1

If you have the driver installed then you need to modify the NVDAStartup.kext as mention in the original post of this thread. The toggle in system preferences will always say you are using the "OS X Default Graphics Driver" as this is just cosmetic. But, by using the nvda_drv=1 flag you will be using the installed web driver.
