Today this popped up any news on the change? Is it ok to install it with the "install button" ?

I installed it and it works. Also there is no problem with CUDA 6.5.45 compatibility. But I have old 560Ti.

Here's the info page for 343.02.02F02

Try to install with your present configuration. However, if it won't install "on this system,"
you'll need to change your System Definition to Mac Pro 3,1 to use this installer as per the above page notes. You can change back to the SysDef you had before with MultiBeast my just selection the SysDef option:
To install: Customize > System Definitions > Mac Pro > Mac Pro 3,1 then reboot and install the driver, and
To Change Back: Customize > System Definitions > (select your previous SysDef) then reboot.

Update: The nVidia System Preference pane once again froze Hector while installing the updated Wed Driver. I recommend downloading the driver from the nVidia site using the link above. Then, after the install and reboot, repair permissions.

I still don't have 4k 60hz support yet with the latest NVIDIA driver!! :banghead:

Quick Question:
Does anyone knows if with Clover I can have 4k 60z on 10.10.2 with my specs?

By the way here are my specs:
GTX 980
Asus Mark 1
OS X 10.10.2
I7 4790K
Mac Pro 5.1

I never have to change System Definition anymore, it's set to iMac 14,2 and it just lets me update anyway. Not sure if it's because I switched to Clover or because of my GTX 970.. it's weird :p

No need to change system definition. I installed the new driver with iMac 14,1 / 10.10.2 / GTX 960 (still seen as a Nvidia Graphic Device).

Hmm, every time I try to update the nvidia drivers my computer freeze. This happens whether it's from System Preference pane or directly from the downloaded driver from nvidia.

Have tried to update several times now, but each time with the same result. Have tried to change the System Definitions to Mac Pro 3.1, but still with the same result.

After each attempt I cannot boot Yosemite and need to reinstall a backup, from my other drive. Really annoying.
