NVIDIA released an update to its CUDA driver to version 6.0.51 which adds support for OS X 10.9.4.

If you already have an older version of CUDA installed, you can update via System Preferences > Other > CUDA and click 'Install CUDA Update'.

My already installed CUDA driver could not find any updates when trying to update through the preference pane so I downloaded and installed it manually. It still says update required in the preference pane though.

Anyone else encountered the same?

I've seen this from time to time with Cuda updates. You can simply download the package and run it manually and it updates correctly here including the version panel.

Yes, that's what I did. I downloaded the package/driver from their site and installed it manually. In the preference pane it shows that the latest version is installed (6.0.51) but the notification "Update Required" is still there. Maybe it's just stuck there. A simple bug maybe?

Possibly an issue with the update server at the other end then.

Did you rebuild your caches after installing ?

I am experiencing the same thing even after a couple of reboots.

Same thing here... Look like this: CUDA Driver Version: 6.0.51 Update Required

Couple of restart nothing change.

I have the same problem.

Same issue here,
Had jerky GUI problem before, too (safari responding weirdly, scroll very slow on opera etc)

Removed CUDA seems to solve the problem, but GUI feels a bit less responsive than 19.9.3 yet, but not sure if it's CUDA related...
