It will work no issues!

Being picky when you boot Hackintosh the post screen will not show up, signal only kicks in (to wakeup screen) when desktop/password screen loads-up. This is just a power saving setting that can't be turned off. However if you need post screen to change bios etc turn the monitor on by hand instead of wakening from power saving/standby before starting Hackintosh.

This is the second time I’ve been an early adopter from Korea and think I’d have learned my lesson. Many stuck/live pixels so returned till it's official release in the USA, for some reason we appear to be the last country again for release this isn't such a bad thing they up quality control and often firmware beforehand.

DP port works best I feel in your setup, I used both Thunderbolt and DP no issues.

Thanks! Will HDMI work at full resolution and 60Hz?

Check out this thread: http://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1241859

It's an older name on that site (relvinnian), but I detail how well this has worked for me and have a gallery of pictures as well. I also list my specs, etc.

In short, it works great on my hackintosh and is absolutely gorgeous to behold :)

Hi bfricka,

Would you mind telling about your Hackintosh-experiences with this monitor?
You told you hook it up via displayport to your GTX 670 (which is way to expensive for my taste).

Which actual lower-end Graphics Card, would you think, would work too?
Could it even be possible to use your integrated Intel-Graphics to avoid adding unnecessary complexity to the Hackintosh-Setup?

On your rig, are you able to drive a smaller Monitor in parallel?

I would love to buy that Monitor, had my finger on the trigger, but realized I cannot even connect it to my actual MBP2011 non retina...

I have one coming this morning. Eager to test it out.

I'm losing a bit vertically as I'm coming from a Crossover 16:10 30", but I'm looking forward to:

Wider
Better OSD controls (atrocious on current monitor)
No dead pixels hopefully.
LED (much cooler than the crossover ccfl)
No "buzzing" - my current monitor started making a low buzzing noise many months back. Ugh.

We shall see!

I just nabbed this monitor and am running into issues with the refresh rate on 10.8.5. using dp (60hz) or hdmi (50hz) it gives me this:

and only seems to work if I set the refresh rate to 30hz. Do you think upgrading to mavericks will solve this issue?

First time Hackintosh this week, I have this working at full resolution at 3440x1440 via DisplayPort.

Just need Intel HD 4600 to post more RAM on 10.9.4 (sigh).

Have you tried using HDMI or TB instead? Installed the Nvidia web drivers?
