GeForce 8800GTS 512 acceleration on ML

Hello guys,

I've been attempting to enable graphics acceleration on my 8800GTS 512 on Mountain Lion 10.8.2 for the past couple of weeks now with no luck.

I even ended up rebuilding 2 times due to unfortunate events.

You can see the progress I've made so far in the below linked screenshots (using g92enabler, GraphicsEnabler=Yes, OOB kext) ... resolution is fine, however I'm unable to use advanced graphics oriented apps, the wiggling of icons on Launchpad does not happen, choppy performance on safari & video output doesn't work on VLC / mplayerx.

Guys,

I think my problem lies within ROM revision, it shows as 'ROM Revision: 0x00' under System information.

Any help would be appreciated ... please.
