Realtek drivers for 802.11n and 802.11ac USB-adapters

Realtek drivers for 802.11n and 802.11ac USB-adapters.

New Universal drivers for Realtek 802.11n/ac adapters - RtWlanU.kext

New driver combines old drivers for 802.11n + 802.11ac adapters:
RtWlanU.kext = RTL8192CU.kext + RTL8188EU.kext + RTL8192EU.kext + RTL8812AU.kext

The colections download for Mac OS X:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/leibxm9vzsne0/Realtek_Wlan_Universal

In the collection are two new items:

RtWlanU_1827.4.03162015_UI_2.3.8

RtWlanU.kext - ver 1827.4.03162015 (date 2015/03/16)
+ Wireless Network Utility 2.3.8 (2015/03/16)

Warning!
When using the system language other than English, the Wireless Network Utility 2.3.8 can fall into a panic.
To fix:
- use the English language interface OS X
- or use the patched utility.

I patched WNU 2.3.8. To use, put the patched WirelessNetworkUtility in /Applications instead of the original.

RtWlanU_1827.4.03162015_UI_2.3.9

RtWlanU.kext - ver 1827.4.03162015 (date 2015/03/16).
+ Wireless Network Utility 2.3.9 (2015/03/27)

Caution! The Wireless Network Utility 2.3.9 works without problems on systems with languages other than English. The patch is not required.

Looking forward to checking these out!

Oops. I read this quickly, and then checked that an Edimax EW-7811UTC had RTL8811AU, and it does (http://wikidevi.com/wiki/Edimax_EW-7811UTC), so I bought some. Then I read the "Supported adapters (from plist):", and I see it lists the Edimax_EW-7811UAC not UTC.

Do you know if that is something I should be able to hack around?

[Edit] I didn't need to do anything special, it worked fine...

have any one tried using it ?

i have installed the default driver from Asus and causing the mac to crashed

com.realtek.driver.RTL8812AU (1008 - SDK 10.8)

i tried to install the Planex and when i tried to run the utility it does not work . the problem here is the ac adapter is from asus usb-AC56. how to get this to run?

I just bought the DWA-182 for my hackintosh. I installed the wireless AC network utility package, but the wireless AC network utility app does seem to support PEAP. Any method of using the kext provided to work with the OSX's native wireless utility?

I'm new so here's one I'd like some help with if possible. I purchased a Premiertek (PT-8812AU) 802.11ac usb online - I'd seen something on the purchasing site that suggested Mac compatibility. Suffice it to say there is no option I can find for this on the company's website.

I did a search and found this site and this thread. I tried the two software downloads, however the installers mentioned both feature greyed out installation options. In short, I can see the solution is there, but I can't access it. Any suggestions on how I might access the software?

Czarembo I had the same problem with the greyed out installation options. I used a software program called Pacifist 3.2.17 to force the drivers to install. Now my D-Link 171 is working just fine so far. :D

Hope that helps!
