Hi guys it's been a while since i last wrote on the forums and i come here looking for help. As the title says i need help getting the hdmi audio to work so any pointers will be appreciated.

At the moment i'm using a modified version of voodoo sound to work with my audio chip but i have no HDMI audio. I tried some DSDT patches to no avail.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think VoodooHDA supports HDMI audio. For that, you must use patched AppleHDA + DSDT patches.

Thanks for the reply, can you point me to a place to help me do that??

Patched AppleHDA is specific to your audio codec. You might be able to find one that matches using google, but first you have to determine your audio codec, which involves getting some information from Linux. Google for 'patch applehda guide' and you should find a guide...
