Comments:

A very nice and quiet system! Doesn't consume too much power but still a powerful machine. The RAM and GPU make this a great machine.

The motherboard seems underused by the community here in general. Very similar to the Z68X, but around $30 cheaper in my experience. Works great!

Runs QUIET. And I mean QUIET.

Case works fabulously, everything fits and nice airflow.

The PCIE slots on the board fit nicely with the case's expansion slots.

Everything working OOB with GPU and CPU and all that, no extra drivers needed! Just boot with the normal CustoMac MultiBeast config and you're set! It works great.

Card runs all Lion Core Animations like a charm.

I'm using the stock Intel cooler.

MultiBeast Configuration for 10.7.3

Changelog:

EDIT: I am currently only using the GTS250 as my research shows it's impossible to SLI 2 cards with different chipsets. Still working like a charm! I'll probably save the 8600GT for another lower-end build. heh, nope.

EDIT 2: WOW, a Golden Build?! Thank you so much tonymacx86 community! This means so much to me!

EDIT 3: Got the AirPort card working, internet is fast and runs incredibly well. I have the card right next to an Airport Express that I'm using as a network repeater, and I sometimes get 1.0 MB/s speeds, which is fabulous. I followed the guide here.

EDIT 4 (3/29/12): Okay, so with the new Chimera 1.9 (thank you MacMan!) I have added that old 8600GT as it was giving me kernel panics when I tried to boot with it, and because there are no kext mods needed now, I can add it with no problem. I'm getting around 35 FPS with Unigine Heaven 3.0, will post my scores when I get home.

EDIT 5 (4/2/12): Make that 38 FPS.

As you can see, I now have an 8600GT included with my GTS 250. Couldn't fit it all in the title though :p

Congrats!
Wish i exposed to this at a younger age.
Just from the looks of the video, and the age, seems like your pretty set (money wise).

I grew up in a bigger family, not much money to do this kind of stuff, so I really couldn't get started doing this till i was around 17.

Learned programming on a 5 year old computer about 3 years ago, making the computer about 8-9 years old now.

Keep it up, if your really into computers, you should take up programming if you haven't already!

Thank you so much for your comments! This was actually the result of 2 years of saving up and allowances and all that. I have always tried to take up programming but never found the time - what language do you think I should learn? Again, thank you so much!

@Adamsmasher Thank you! Loving the animations :p
@eelhead Thanks!

Oh wow.
Take up Objective-C, and then later more. Like C++
Objective-c for OS X/iOS and C++ for Windows

And do web too, that way if you ever create a product, you can do the web management as well. Great skills to learn.
Learn PHP, Javascript/Ajax/Jquery, CSS3 and HTML5

And programming is very time consuming! If you have a job where you are working 40-50hrs a week. And have a lot of other stuff going on, its very hard to keep at it.

I started programming probably at 16, and then when i started working I couldn't keep up with it. It is very very time consuming. And the younger you are the better off you are to learn.

I leave for college in the fall so i'll have tons of free time, and hopefully get some projects started and launched.
