Adamsmasher has created 2 new default themes for the next MultiBeast release. :) In black and white.

Unzip and place attached Default folder in /Extra/Themes/ folder.

If testing these, set Graphics Mode to your monitor's native vesa res. You can easily get that into the plist by using 1080p Display in MultiBeast.

Otherwise add this to Boot.plist

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>"1920x1080x32"</string>

Note: Results may vary.
NVIDIA cards will have a box frame around it.
Intel graphics will be perfect.
AMD, depending on the card, it will most likely be stretched at most resolutions. :/

Hi thanks the video is real clear but the part thats most interesting to me is getting the resolution higher. My resolution is the Apple Standard LED 1920 x 1200 Where is the Boot.plist? I see theme.plist and a org.chameleon.Boot.plist

BTW: First post, made a smoking Hackintosh and it runs fantastic. Thank you

Otherwise add this to Boot.plist

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>"1920x1080x32"</string>

Boot into Mac OS X. First, go to /Extra in your Mac OS X hard drive and open the file org.Chameleon.boot.plist . In between <dict> and </dict> in the file, add the following lines:

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string>

Replace 1920 and 1080 with the width and height, respectively, of the new VESA resolution that you set in the VBIOS. Then save the file. In Mac OS X Snow Leopard, you won't be able to save the file normally because it's a locked system file (in Lion, you can unlock system files). Instead, save a new copy of org.Chameleon.boot.plist to somewhere random (make sure that you save it as a .plist file). Then delete the old copy of the file and replace it with the new one.

I dont know if i can write here about this article [Theme] LoginToLion but its very nice boot theme too. One thing more ... its not chimera, but its for chameleon bootloader, anyway you can use picture of background and icons from this theme to modify your own tonymac chimera bootloader.

I dont know where is problem, when i replaced icon (from here [Theme] LoginToLion) i have only one problem Mountain Lion was presented by Lion icon (see on video) so i simple replace Lion icon with Mountain Lion icon in theme folder and its done, but no black circle problem as on your boot so i dont know ...

thanks for your help now it's working great :headbang::headbang:

Don't forget that it is possible to edit the vbios on AMD cards if they do not have the correct vesa mode to display the theme properly, or at least it was possible last time I did it.
