Hey all,

This is a weird question, but I'm currently using this Logitech K750 Mac on my machine which I dual boot into Win7. Now, most of the special function keys worked in Win7 (i.e. volume, mute), but when I installed the setpoint software, they stopped working, and now I can't get them to work anymore. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

I recently (after having booted into Windows, though I didn't make the connection for a while) lost the special function keys on my K750 in OS X. I could use them if I held the FN button, but that is flipped compared to the normal setting! Unfortunately, "no special function keys" were found in the keyboard prefpane, nor in 3rd party software like Function Flip.

I tore my hair out trying to find out why. Tried uninstalling it, unpairing it, messing with kexts, logitech drivers, etc. Nothing would work.

Then, eventually, somehow, it came back. Hooray! ...Until after I had booted into Windows 7 again. The next time I was in OS X, no function keys. It seems as if Windows 7, somehow, some way, screws up something... if I didn't know better, I'd think it was somehow messing with the PRAM. Except... hackintoshes don't have PRAM! Makes me wonder, what do they do for stuff normally maintained by the PRAM? Maybe the problem lies along that line of reasoning. I have to do some research here...

Anyway, did you ever solve this problem? If so, please let me know! It's a very annoying situation!

Evidently installing Logitech control center in Windows f's up the F-keys (see what I did there?) even in Mac. Weird.

Luckily someone on the Logitech forums posted a workaround: KeyRemap4Macbook. Lets you redefine the function keys as you like.
