Hi Everybody,
I have been struggling with the issue of my Hackintosh freezing during the use of my external USB 3.0 drive which is connected through a USB 3.0 Hub (HooToo), for quite a few months now, and have tried several suggestions from the forum with no luck.. such as:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...-ga-z77x-ud5h-tips-yosemite-vs-usb-3-0-a.html
The computer works perfectly for a short while and then suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere freezes requiring a manual hard reboot, i have observed CPU spikes with every freeze, as seen here:
Relevant Bios Settings:
xHCI mode - Set to Auto
xHCI Handoff - Set to Enabled
EHCI Handoff - Set to Enabled
Turbo Boost - Set to Disabled
I have tried with system definitions Mac Pro 3,1 and iMac 14,2, without any luck.
What could be a possible solution to this never ending frustration for me?
