Installed wrong kext file on mavericks!! Now wont boot.. Plzz help!!!..

I am new to this forum and I am in desperate need of some help!!

Was running mavericks just fine. Everything was working good until a few days ago I accidentally did a software update which ended up causing audio issues.

Upon doing some more research I found that editing some kext files (which was a horrible mistake) would possibly fix this issue. I ended up installing a IOUSBFamily.kext using kext utility. Shortly after, I attempted to restart my computer, but unfortunately Mavericks wasn't booting up anymore.. I got this error

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80006c3451): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@SourceCache/xnu/xnu-2422.115.4/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp

Is there any way to revert this terrible mistake of mine?.. Thanks so much!

i have a working mac book pro with mavericks on it..

mackintosh only had mavericks installed.. Was installed using unibeast and multi beast. As for the Specs, don't remember them specifically other than Intel i 7 and motherboard ASRock z87M extreme 4

if i try to boost with unibeast it won't let me boot mavericks, i tried -x and still get same panic display. If i hit usb it gets stuck on Apple screen.

Any other options??

And i don't know how to attach my hackintosh hdd via usb to mac book pro.

Before we go much further trying to help you please familiarize yourself with the site rules and get your system specs entered. Having the info in the body of a message isn't going to help much when you start asking other questions and I can't be bothered to search your previous posts for this info. Use my sig as an example if you like but far too many people are asking for help without this info.

It's kinda like calling a mechanic that you don't know and saying "my car is broken, what's wrong with it?"! The more info the better!

Have the same problem folks, please help! Can't boot into my drive (safe mode, or single user mode). When I try to boot single user mode, I get a similar screen as the OP, when I try safe mode, I get stuck on the apple screen with an empty progress bar. Please advise. Thanks!

All this happened after I ticker FixShutdown in Clover. How can I get my Hack back?
