Hi, I'm new to the hackintosh community. I built a computer using the august buyers guide. I've been following the Unibeast installation procedures and I installed mavericks. when boting from the USB, I see the Icon for it, but clicking it leads to a white screen with the apple logo and a loading icon that doesn't go away. Any ideas regarding what might cause this are greatly appreciated.

when boot chimera, add the flag -v and then tell us where you stuck
post your system specs

Have you disabled the integrated graphics via the bios and selected the 280x to initiate first the issue is two things Intel changed the device Ids on the 9 series motherboards for audio and integrated graphics so they are no longer supported natively and require a patch to work around audio will not stop a boot up normally unless using voodooHDA with AppleHDA that causes kernel panics but graphics will cause system hangs the r9 280x requires GraphicsEnabler=Yes boot flag which sometimes tries to initiated the unsupported integrated graphics hence the need to disable it via the bios to test this theory boot with -x GraphicsEnabler=Yes or just disable the integrated graphics via the bios and boot up with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and add that boot flag to your config.plist since using clover use clover configurator to mak it easier on ya

Also thread hijacking is fround upon here at tonymacx86 next time make your own thread
