Finder crashes every time I try to select an audio file to preview using Quicklook.
I can right click and choose Quicktime Pro to listen to them so the files are ok.

Images, Text files, ALL other types behave as expected - just Audio and Video files are effected.

I use FCPX, Logic Pro 8.0.2 (with a trick to get it to work on MtLion.) I wonder if those pro-apps have messed with the default settings.

My Sys Def = 3,1 already. I checked previous posts and they all said to "change" the smbios to MacPro 3,1 but mine is already set to that. Just to experiment, I re-chose MacPro 3,1 fom MultiBeast but it had no impact.

I tried the New nVidia Web Driver found here: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Mac/Quadro_Certified/313.01.03f02/WebDriver-313.01.03f02.pkg but still no love.

Also, I noticed that DVDPlayer crashes when I use Full Screen mode but not at any other setting. I don't know if it is related but I thought I'd mention it.

I'd scratch my head but there is not much hair left for me to pull out

[FIXED]
I saw a long post over at the Apple Forums and on pages 7 and 8 they suggested using Pacifist to reinstall both QTKit.framework and Quicktime.framework.
I did just that and viola! Everything works in QuickLook again!

Check out the read at Apple : https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5182123?start=105&tstart=0

Just want to give thanks for this method worked for me on my 6 Core Music/VJ Machine. Had been bugging me for many months that i could not just hit spacebar to preview video files! Now Quick Look is fixed and behaves
