I finally got my hackintosh working, but I still get errors occasionally. I'm almost certain that there is something that's not configured correctly, but I just wanted to know whether this would cause any hardware damage in the short or long term?

For example, I had to use NullCPUPowerManagement.kext to get my machine working--shouldn't cpu power management required to keep the cpu safe:problem:?

nullcpupm kext is safe to use but asus aicpm true is a beter option in clover bootloader. you will need a supported gfx card as the hd2000 is not supported

I should have updated my profile, I'm actually using a GT740 instead of the HD2000.

I used Uni+MultiBeast, not Clover, so would the ASUS AICPM.kext still work on my Biostar board?

asus aicpm true is a clover config option so if not using clover then ignore

Cool, thanks for the info! Just for future reference, what does asus AICPM do and why is it better than NCPM?

asus aicpm true is needed on older mobos that have a locked msr like 7 series and older that are not gigabyte boards even some ga boards have locked msr example ti models
