The new Macs introduced at Monday's Apple Event will bring full 5th series ‘Broadwell’ Intel CPU support and Intel HD graphics compatibility to OS X. It won’t happen immediately, as they ship with a special version of OS X 10.10.2 to begin with. We expect full support starting with OS X 10.10.3.

This M processor and it's speeds are a joke. The new Macbook is the slowest of any Air & Pro out there.

Anyone know when 10.10.3 will be out? Anyone seen a release date, or even a rumor?

And I'm just curious. What is it about Broadwell that makes it incompatible with OS X?

My attempts to install OSX hits a brick wall.

I have run Mac OS X on a sandy bridge celeron and I use a haswell pentium so I don't see why they won't be compatible
