Hey all,

I am running a GA B75M-D3H mobo on a i7-4770K processor.
My rig has been working fine until i started to work with some 'heavy' build softwares.

Now when i am operating under normal conditions,

The rig boots up at ~35˚C
Under normal conditions it rakes upto ~45˚C
When i start working with a heavy piece of s/w it goes upto 65˚ ~ 80˚C
Now when i do some rendering work the CPU cores go upto ~100˚C and above.
At times the build freezes up on me.

I did my build with HWMonitor and i've realised that the fan speeds stick around their normal speeds.
For CPU it sticks to ~1200 rpm and for GPU its sticks to 1080 rpm.
I constantly get warnings that the CPU is OVERHEATED.

I have no idea what to do and what may be causing the issue.
The forums at UE4 suggest that this should not be happening under Yosemite.
Can somebody help me on this. Please??

Thanks. Regards.

Please some one guide me on this.

thanks @PresidentEvil I know of coolers that exist in the market, what i am specifically wanting to know is that if there is some way that i can ramp up the fan's RPM.

M using HWMonitor and i get to see that the Fan's RPM is stuck around 1200. Is there a way that i can pump this up?? I read somewhere that stock fans are sufficient and can be ramped upto 4k RPM.

I used FanControl too, but for now it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I also checked into BIOS settings and tried to do a manual setting there. It didn't help too. I set the PWM slope to 1.5 from 0.75. It hasn't shown any changes as of yet.

Does anyone know how to control CPU Fan Speed?? Is there a patch that can help by controlling the CPU's fan speed?
