I have Zotac Geforce GT 640 Zone edition Graphic card.
Actually, I have 2 of them, but my current MB has a blown PCIE slot... so I'm planning on swapping it out and installing both cards soon.

I would like to drive a couple of 4K monitors at the full 3840x2160 60Hz.
Has anyone gotten gone with that kind of setup on a Hackintosh with GT640s?

Right now I'm running 2 1920 x 1200 monitors with no issues.

I'm also considering adding them on as tool monitors.

Just wondering of there are recommendations or caveats I should know about.

Cards for gt 630 and gt 540 are in my hacks and real Mac Pro..
They only go to IPS range 2560 X ??
Unless your card has some dual link stuff going for it..
You need a card that is 4K ready..check out Tony Macs shopping list...

I can get 2560 X running no problem

Thanks for the reply. Sorry it took me so long to respond.
The Zotac site claims the 640 has Dual link DVI.
(Down at the moment, so no link.)

It has a DVI-I and DVI-D connector, but no Displayport.
Still for video editing and graphics work, the 30fps should be fine.
Only game I play is GTA:San Andreas, and I actually tend to watch video in SD because my distance vision sucks anyway.

The only question is... with a Hackintosh be able to drive 2 of these cards with what is basically a 4 monitor setup?

with my gtx660 I can run 2 4k monitors plus 2 HD at same time so 4 monitors hackintosh
