I'm looking to do a build with the Asus h97m-plus mobo. Issue is no pci-e 1x slots for recommended tp-link wireless card.

Could someone recommend a wireless pci card?

TIA.

Edit: While looking through different parts of the forum, I noticed someone dropped a pci-e x1 card in a pci-e x16 slot. Would this work in this instance with the h97m-plus mobo?

Here are the board specs for the x16 slots --
Expansion Slots
PCI Express 3.0 x16 1, PCI Express 2.0 x16 1 (x4 mode)

Yes, you can use a PCIe x1 card in ANY PCIe slot. That's how PCIe rolls - any PCIe card can be used in a PCIe slot its own physical size or larger. This would be the best way to go, rather than pull your hair out trying to find a compatible PCI Wifi card.

@nobodynose, thanks. I was about to fall on my sword.
