How To Get ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 With Full QE/CI Support

Note 1 : This Is only tested on OS X Mavericks And Yosemite you can try it on older versions if u want but i am not responsible for any bricks

Note 2 : This Is only tested on ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 1GB Video RAM it is not recommended to try it on different hardware as it can brick your computer

1- Download Kext Wizard,ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 Patch File

2- Open Kext Wizard go to Installation and choose Browse now choose kext files we just downloaded also make sure Backup Kexts That Will Be Replaced is checked and choose this path System/Library/Extensions and then choose disk that you have your system installed on and hit install

3- After its done go to Maintenance and check System/Library/Extensions and then hit Execute

4- Reboot and its all done

HI, i'm italian sorry for my bad english, i have a notebook sony vaio with the same gpu graphics, when i install this kext, i must start the system with some key on boot? like GraphicsEnabler=Yes or somethings? because i already test other kext but just one for half working, it give me a blackscreen, and it working when i put the hdmi in onther monitor.

also this kext when you install it, the screen go in black, how to resolve that?

1- Dont use GraphicsEnabler=Yes keep it =No + Dont use any Boot Flags that are related to graphics such as AtiConfig=Whatever
2- I see on your profile you are running Mountain Lion I said in this thread that it was only tested on Mavericks And Yosemite
3- U can boot with verbose mode ( -v ) boot flag and send pic of the Kernel Panic or the stage its stuck at and wait 15 mins when its stuck at a stage if it doesnt boot then send the pic
4- Did u install all kexts in file ? and did u follow any step wrong ?

hi, i still try in my laptop with this component: Ati Mobility Radeon 4650 1gb ddr3, Cpu dual core series T, i have tried maveriks and yosemite, but both give me black screen on osx get started, but if i insert hdmi in a monitor, it works... i would to work the internal monitor... how do this?

I installed this kext and Mavericks 10.9.3 it works, but when I install this under 10.9.5 , then the system is fully slowly.


In my system is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 with 512MB of video memory.


What can I do to make it as running under 10.9.3?
