Does anyone have any type of driver available for the edimax 7811UN USB wifi adapter that would work on Yosemite? The latest 10.9 drivers for Mavericks have a greyed out install button when running the installer.pkg file. Thanks!

Same problem here.
Just opened a ticket with the edimax technical support if and when the driver for 10.10. will be available.

Having the same problem, extracted the install.pkg, and tried the RT888 kext in the pkg, and the wireless utility won't open.

This works with the official Realtek driver for 10.8, looks like it hasn't been updated in a while, but I'm posting using my Edimax 7811un right now on Yosemite. I've mirrored the file to my dropbox. https://db.tt/oyvagjgM

Thanks a lot for the files.
Unfortunately the driver does not work for me.

I could easily install it (no greyed out fields, etc.) I even can see available networks but when i type in the password it will not connect.

Anybody here with an idea what to do ?

Thanks for the provided Realtek drivers.

Just had to uninstall the leftovers from the previous EDIMAX installation.

Looks like Edimax removed the 10.10 driver from the download page. Can you post it?
