Installed this in my GA-x79-UP4 running 10.9.4 and it's working flawlessly...No drivers needed...I was having problems with the onboard USB3 ports being a bit flaky for large transfers...This requires no power adapter and has an internal connector for my 2 USB ports built into the top of the case...

Enjoy

The Inateck KT4006 also works perfectly under OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. Recognized without configuration as a USB 3.0 Hi-Speed / SuperSpeed Bus with my Intel DG33FB motherboard.

Plenty of power for every external hard drive I've tried it with.

Apparently some other Inateck USB 3.0 PCIe cards have compatibility issues with Yosemite, but the KT4006 works great.

Hello there! I changed to this card because I couldn't setup my previous card, and saw everywhere that this card was the perfect one, but I probably changed the wrong kexts files… Would anyone know how to reset my usb settings ? I'm on Sierra 10.12.5

Same problem here. I'm on 10.13.2 and everything is running smooth except for USB 3.0 with this card. Strange thing is: I've been able to get the ports working but after a restart they disappeared in the system report window. I enabled FixUSB in Clover. Still not working. I have a series 6 Sandy Bridge mainboard. Anyone having a similar issues?
