Gigabyte Z97 Compatabilty

There isn't full Z97 chipset support from Apple but you can still use it with some
workarounds for onboard audio and integrated graphics. Use search to find
builds that use that motherboard.

So would I be able to and just do somethings with multibeast?
Or would I have to do other things to it

Lets say I was not going to use the onboard graphics (nor the onboard audio) would this point still be relevant?

ie. does the successful installation of OS X require that these two issues are sorted for a fully functioning install on Z97 boards?

Cheers

You'll want to do the install with a compatible Nvidia graphics card if you've got one. If not follow
the guide linked to above. For audio some use a sound card or usb dongle to get audio, some will
use Voodoo, there are lots of options beside using onboard audio. The fix is quite easy for it though.
So, there are many ways to go to get a fully working Z97 system.

Thank you
I know my graphics card is good for hackintoshing
but Im not exactly sure what sound card to even use
or is there a way to use the onboard graphics?
