I've read that having 4 sticks of ram in a hackintosh causes instability. I've also read read that certain ram works. When i go back to work here in August i'd like to max out my Ram to 32GB, probably an OCD thing. I've always wanted to have a computer with maxed out ram and right now i have the cash. Anyhow any insight into what ram works or what ram i should try would be welcomed.

I have the GA-Z87X-UD5 TH, i7-4771, Asus GTX 770 and i've been using clover as my boot loader.

I was running 16GB of Corsair Vengeance LP with the same mobo as the OP, and when I tried 32GB the other week, I incurred system freezing..

Today I flashed the BIOS from F3 to F5d and so far everything's been running great. I've had one of my heaviest audio sessions running with a Thunderbolt interface and a pair of PCIe DSP cards in looped playback mode for 6 hours straight in a 85 degree room with a Noctua cooler still going dead silent..

so yup I'm happy. .:headbang:

Awesome guys and thanks. Right now i have a big smile on my face!
One last question does all 4 sticks have to be the same type of ram, or just the pairs. it's been years since i've built a computer, prior to this one. Which runs amazingly in OSX 10.9.X!

Good to hear things are going well wit your build.. and yes, all sticks should be the same brand , make, modle.. with Hackintoshing it is best to leave as little to chance as possible. .
