Hello
Just buy Gigabyte motherboard Z87X UD5 TH
I'm sad, cause Thunderbolt doesn't work.
When you're plugging Thunderbolt device, you can read that you have a connection but device don't mount or appear.
For instance, connect a harddrive FW 800 with Apple TH cable....no hardrive on desktop.
An idea ?
Thanks

You need to have any and all Thunderbolt devices connected at boot time as OS X does not support Thunderbolt hot swap on hackintosh builds.

I had problems with thunderbolt on my Asrock Extreme9/ac. I finally set the bios to load the thunderbolt option ROM when booting (the default was off). I can now connect a Firewire external drive via a thunderbolt to firewire connector.

From my experience in getting 2 different types of Thunderbolt-equipped motherboards working in the past (both were Z77 though):

In the bios try going to Thunderbolt, then switch rom 20 to 40
...also select 'Disable wake on Thunderbolt'.

Hopefully this helps!
