Just booted up the Z87MX-D3H and to my surprise, a massive new skin on the UEFI called "Windows Mode". The older Z77 style "Classic Mode" is also available. There are wallpapers, sliders, and other settings- you can even choose your own wallpaper. Here are a few screenshots:

Here's the familiar "Classic Mode", which you can switch to as well.

Has anyone seen an ETA for a Haswell ATX board with Thunderbolt? I'm holding out upgrading my 1156 ASUS until then.

PS when I read "Windows" and "Classic" my gut reaction is to hate Windows and love Classic, then I remember we're talking about UEFI and not Microsoft and Apple lol.

Are you testing for compatibility with 10.8.4 or is it your new buy? Are you using also the IOReg from MacBook Air?

Did you mean from Gigabyte? Or just Z87 + TB in general? I've already seen a couple ASUS and one ASRock Z87 w/TB...

Nothing was announced at Computex. It may be a while. For as low as TB adoption rates are in the Mac world it's far less prevalent on the Windows side and even sketchier on Linux. Reminds me of the serial to USB migration were it was USB only on Macs, a bit on Windows and Linux, Solaris and AIX saying USWhat?

Here's a link to one of the ASUS Z87 boards with TB (2 ports).
Here's another link to an ASUS Z87 board with a single TB port.
And ASRock has a Z87 board with 2 TB ports.

Sorry I didn't link to these on Amazon or NewEgg - I was already shopping this morning for some other stuff at this particular vendor & was looking at prices on their site.
