Just a quick update on an older system originally built for OS X Lion running the latest OS X El Capitan perfectly. The Sandy Bridge CustoMac Mini 2011 GA-H67N-USB3-B3 - Core i3-2105 - HD 3000 Graphics. The original posts are here:

This little system has been a great workhorse for testing over the years- I’ve also used it connected to the TV. For OS X El Capitan UniBeast installation, use the main guide. If you have trouble booting the standard USB, recreate it by formatting first with MBR partition format. This will install Clover using Legacy Boot Mode to the root of the USB.

BIOS settings:
Disable USB 3.0 under Integrated Peripherals. NEC/Renesas USB 3.0 ports are not working- there is no current solution for OS X El Capitan as of this post. The system drive will not boot unless you disable USB 3.0 in BIOS.

MultiBeast settings:

OLD METHOD:
Instead of installing to the EFI partition with Legacy Boot Mode, Clover can be installed to the root of the system drive by using either Legacy Boot Mode - Root package from El Capitan Post-Install Tools.

After installing Clover, use the following fix for HD 3000 graphics. We'll be adding this fix to MultiBeast.

I can not enable USB 3.0.

Can you explain the process for this?

Thanks.

Thanks for the post Tony, definitely will be a time saver with the config you posted,I have this build also currently with Maverick, looking forward to updating to El Capitan, this build has worked awesome for years!

TONY MAC YOU THA MAN!!!

Thank you so much for revisiting this classic machine! Many of us are still using it as our daily/main/only computer!

You are a classy dude for taking the time to help out people and update the guide for this legacy machine.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Does anyone have HDMI Audio working on 10.11?

I used Toleda's ALC110 Audio Fix Script to enable Realtek 889, the coaxial (rca plug) is working. But I haven't seen specific discussion on HDMI Audio.

Any links to HDMI Audio with Clover on Legacy Series 6, i5 2500k, or 2011 CustoMacMini appreciated.

Yes- use the plist from the top post and HDMI audio should work on port 2.

Or use the official Clover package with custom settings as follows:

Thanks, Tony! Can you clarify the logic behind not installing Clover to the ESP as checked off for legacy systems in the Clover/Yosemite guide? Any difference in terms of functionality?

Hello, I have "vintage" hackintosh with similar motherboard. I know that all info how to install El Capitan with Clover i can find on this site. Anyway can anyone help with no step by step tutorial but only, step by step exceptions for this old motherboard?

For example,- turn off USB 3 in BIOS, how to inject existing USB 2, how to install clever to the root of master boot and not to EFI etc ...

In short i know how to install El Capitan with Clover but what i don't know is exceptions i must use. Thanks for any help before a formatted and loose all my data :)

Another question - its better to wait for MultiBeast 8? Do MultiBeast 8 think about my vintage motherboard?
