I just bought an Intel Core i7-3770 CPU with an Asrock z77 pro4 Motherboard and I'm using HD4000 Graphics. I managed to install 10.8.2 but I have issues. Can I have modified BIOS for my MB, besause I can't install bootloader and hardware is not recognised by the system.
PS - any help with the post installation will be
appreciated :)

Let me know if have issues and need help.

MiniITX Can you provide me with this DSDT i have looked everywhere and i cant find it. I need to get the sleep to work, I hope you can help me on this.

Did you flash the BIOS? If not its recommanded that you flash the BIOS with modded BIOS rom file to avoid post installation issues.

Using DSDT Editor tool extract a DSDT and save it as .dsl format (4th option under file tab) compress it and attach.

Here it is! I wish i could do this by myself without bother anyone but i cant find any guide or tutorial, thanks for your help man. BTW my bios is patched

Hi MiniITX:
I tried to send you a PM but can you believe it, this board doesn't even allow PMs unless you've got 50 posts. Most of my posts have turned up Total, Complete and Absolute ZERO in terms of getting actual help, so I stopped posting.

Anyway, I was wondering if you'd be interested in helping me customize DSDT(s) for some of my ASRock boards, in particular the Z77 Pro4-M, as well as the H77M-ITX. Haven't been able to get sleep or power mgmt working, even though I've applied the modified BIOS and experimented with the modded and stock AICPUPM kexts in MultiBeast and the Lion and Mountain Lion installers.

I can send you the build and software specs if you'd be inclined to offer an assist.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi MiniITX:

Here are two archives for two different Z77Pro4-M builds: one IvyBridge, one SandyBridge.

Both BIOS's have been flashed to 1.6 with the unlocked mod off that wordpress site. Both builds also have SSDT's in the Extra folder, although I can't recall if I generated these with RevoGirl's ssdt-pr script or with the built-in option in MultiBeast.

I also provided screen shots of the boot plist files, and pertinent system profile pages.

On the SandyBridge, sleep MIGHT actually be working. It took awhile to catch, but the fans did eventually spin down and flicker off; however, I couldn't get the system to reawaken. I attached a bdmesg dump if that helps. There are also some interesting fail-to-load items near the end, like SMC init and HDA-gfx.

The IvyBridge has more problems besides No Sleep: The Audio ID is showing as "1" rather than "892," and even though the graphics card is correctly identified by number (0x6758), the chipset is non-descript (Radeon HD 6xxx). There are posts all over tonymac about this but no fixes. BTW, my initial attempt at a custom DSDT for this build proved ineffective. I'm sure there's more to it than I was doing. Mac-specific definitions probably, and a bunch else. All I had to go by was Toledo's suggestions for adding the hex-equivalent for 892 Audio to the HDEF field, but even with that addition, the Audio ID still showed up as "1" in System Profiler. So since that didn't work and sleep also didn't work, I just removed the DSDT. That's when I decided to seek your assistance.

Thanks for the offer to take a look at this. Really appreciate it.
