Hi!

A friend just gave me a P55M-GD45 board. I got it up and running, but firewire wasn't working with the DSDT from the database.

Then I saw that Aargh-A-Knot had created his own 2.2 version a while back, that fixed firewire and some other things.

Anyone have an aargh-A-Knot 2.2 DSDT kicking around that they could send me or upload?

Or someone else's pre-patched DSDT.aml that fixes firewire?

Thanks!

I'd like to have it too. I have two versions right now. One that I used to build my mackintosh originally and the one from tonymacs database and I don't know which (if any) is the latest (2.2).

I'd also like to request this. Having a hell of a time trying to install Lion on this board.

This is a response to a PM I got. I decided to post publicly since others might be interested.

Using Aargh-a-Knot's DSDT I never really had any issues with 10.6.8 after I simply rolled back IOPCIFamily.kext and AppleACPIPlatform.kext to the versions that were in 10.6.7. This worked only for Snow Leopard however but caused other issues in Lion.
So I ended up creating my own DSDT (attached) for Lion. It might also work with 10.6.8 and shouldn't require you to roll back those two kexts I mentioned above. It's far away from clean and I haven't tested everything. Specifically I don't know if FireWire works or not since I don't have any FW devices. But the stuff I need all seems to be ok.
For sound you'll still need to install Legacy HDA 889.

Due to another issue (which many seem to have with Lion) you'll need to roll back AppleRTC.kext in order to get Sleep to work properly (Lion only).
