Hello, this is my third hackintosh build, now i'm running Lion (10.7.4) with motherboard z68 series, core i7 and Radeon 6870.

I hope i'm posting on the correct thread.

My problem is that all my secondary SATA devices run so slow (About 15 minutes to transfer 700mb). My HDD's are Barracuda ST31000524AS 1GB and conected to SATA main ports. This can be DSDT related?

I've read this post on insanelymac (sorry for linking) http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=181981&st=120&start=120 that seems already my problem, but on Snow Leopard. I've tried to do the same on my DSDT downloaded from here (GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 F8), but i get a kernel panic (Sure i've touched wrong the DSDT file).

Anybody knows if by editing commands like RTC, TMR or PIC i can fix this? I'm opened to try. My workflow with this build it's very frustating, i've tried with many AHCI kexts, but problem seems to be in the DSDT.

Thanks for reading. Any help is welcome.

Cheers!

What BIOS are you on rite now? If possible upgrade to UEFI and try the DSDT free solution.

If the above doesn't work then extract a DSDT and attach ill edit it.
