So I have successfully build two hacks on my own and a friend of mine contacted me and asked if I could help him. He had already ordered parts and had a friend put it together for him.

His system looks like this:

-ASUS P8H61*M LE CSM REV3 Intel 6 Series Motherboard
-Intel Core i3* Dual Core 3.3ghz Processor
-1 tb Hard drive
-8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 Ram

I do not know the graphics card yet but will find that out soon.

So I searched for a DSDT for his mobo but did not see one.

I then searched his for his mobo on this forum but only found one article on it: http://www.tonymacx86.com/snow-leop...8-asus-p8h61-m-rev-3-0-installation-help.html

From the sound of it, the install goes fine but no one really knows multibeast config to make audio work.

My only concern is the kext installs. I would like to avoid KP if possible considering I am helping him out via Skype.

Does anyone know of a good walk through for this mono or a user DSDT that would work?

Can someone point me in the right direction to help a friend out?

THANKS EVERYONE!

The ASUS P8H61-M LE and P8H61-M LX are two different motherboards. Although they may be similar or even almost identical (I didn't check), It's not a good idea to use a DSDT from a different motherboard. You could use the DSDT from the P8H61-M LX as a template in order to edit the one you extract from the P8H61-M LE. There will most likely be a lot of the same edits.

EDIT: I just found this: http://legacy.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=35559
This should get you up and running. Just follow the guide, your motherboard is included in the patch list.
