GA-Z77-D3H DSDT for 10.8

NOTE: This is designed for 10.8.2, other version may run into issues.

I have created a DSDT.aml to get the audio on the GA-Z77-D3H working under 10.8 using a patched APPLEHDA.kext. For more info on this visit this threat:

The DSDT is based on bios version F14 (confirmed to also work on F14) and so far I have only done the following:
- added Method (DTGP, 5, NotSerialized)
- added/modified HDEF
- fixed other small errors
- added HDMI audio using IGPU edit + HDEF edit

This threat is to optimise and improve the DSDT even further

It is confirmed that this DSDT also works on F14.

I am now trying to add HDMI audio functionality according to this guide:

It should work but I have not yet succeeded. Maybe someone else can try to inject the HDMI part and see if they get get the IGPU to show in IOReg after the DSDT edit.

HDMI functionality has now also been added.

Thx for your work! Sound and HDMI audio works great. But i have question:
- on F11 version bios i have some problem. All drives marked as external
- on F14 all drives marked as internal, but sleep didn't work
How i can fix it?(Sorry for my English)

The DSDT was designed for F11. There may be some unknown issues with F14 (as the one you reported). You can incorporate all the edits from this DSDT into a fresh one from F14 or wait a few days until I upload an updated version based on the F14 bios.

I have modified a DSDT for bios version 14. With this one audio (with the kext provided in http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/671...z77-d3h-sound-mt-10-8-project-via-2021-a.html) and sleep works (at least on my machine).

Yes the HDMI code from the R11 bios DSDT is in this one too.
