First, I want to say that it's great that MacMan worked and improved the dsdt-database. Thanks

Secondly, I want to know why the new DSDTs for the Z68-boards doesn't eliminate the usb wake from sleep issues that it says... Actually I don't notice anything different at all with the previous DSDT compared to the new one... Still same issues with USB-ports being recognized as external and thus the Logitech C270 webcam stops working after sleep and the "Disk was not ejected properly" -sign is still there.

The board I'm using is a GA-Z68P-DS3 1.0 with F9 BIOS and DSDT...

Anyone here with a Z68-board who has or hasn't these issues still?

I don't have any problems with DSDT on this database. Everything you mentioned works for me.

same problems here as you described with my z68a-d3-b3 new F11 DSDT from macman.. any1 have solution to this?

thanks macman for effort :headbang:

lol no one? :D

I've been away from the forums for a couple months but I remember a large thread about sleep/wake issues that I believe has since been deleted.

Has it been deleted because the dsdt database was updated with the new dsdt's that corrected the sleep problems?

If so, were all the dsdt's updated? Or just the latest bios firmware for each board?

I ask because I downloaded and tested the f5 dsdt for my board and it still had the sleep problems. So I reverted back to the dsdt I got off that sleep/wake thread.

Now there's a newer f6 dsdt available but I don't want to update unless I know it'll fix something.

My problem is auto sleep doesn't work and only the monitor turns off. Everything else works pretty well.

Maybe you will have to set a jumper on your mainboard or change a BIOS setting so that USB standby power will be derived from +5V standby and not from +5V main which is factory default for most boards. As +5V will get switched off when the system goes to sleep all connected devices will lose power as if they have been disconnected manually.

Possible solution

Hi, I have the same problem with my Z68XP-UD3 board, I was googling for hours looking for solution... Nothing that would natively make it work.
@Mieze is right - Motherboard cuts the usb drives power supply and there is no solution for that yet I suppose... Maybe the next UEFI bios release will solve the problem.

As a temporary solution, have a look here:
