Hi everybody!
i am looking for DSDT for this mainboard. Asus Maximus V GENE Z77
Can you help me? i have installed lion 1.7.3, but i can boot it only from usb-drive... please help me:)

please help me, i have this issues:

usb port work only SOMETIMES!... while installation work my keyboard and mouse perfectly... but when i try to boot macos, it doesn't work! sometimes, after 10 reboots, it works! :) but mostly not...

what can i do?
 
You should try plugging in your mouse and keyboard into different usb ports. I have heard that with some mobos with the z77 chipset certain usb ports do not work.

Hopefully this will change with the next kernel release of OSX from Apple to support the upcoming ivy-bridge iMacs and MacBook Pros.

don't forget the white USB port is Rc connect/Normal used, don't use that one for your keyboard and mouse.

Hey i have the same board, but with a i7 chip, i'll share my findings here once i get past my boot problems.

i wont be abel to help anyway i only have the 10.7.4 installer so i'm stuck untill there is a new bridgehelper or real support for ivy :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
 
ok i have 10.7.4 in a working condition (boots and network)

what i did to get keyboard and mouse to work is as follows.

after first reboot go in to the bios and set the following 2 settings.
Advanced - Usb Configuration
Intel xHCI: Disabled
EHCI Hand-off: Enabled

and then use Boot flags.
-v -USBFixBus=yes

then the keyboard and mouse should work.

for the multi beast i used easy beast
and then enabled the intel1000 driver, FakeSMC and mac pro 3.1

i'm shure that more tinkering is needed but it works for me.

I use an external USB dac so I haven't tryed yet.

But I can give it a try tomorrow and se if I can get it to work

edit:

i tried to install 10.7.4.... same problem: no usb-ports work:(( maybe the problem is my keyboard, i am using Logitech Dinovo Edge, Win edition.
 
@AngelFox - Were you able to get the onboard sound to work? Just curious, why didn't you go for the z77 Sabertooth instead?
