DSDT Database: Non-Gigabyte Submission Thread

Submit your PRE-EDITED DSDTs along with the vanilla version here as attachments. We're looking for specifically non-Gigabyte socket 1156 or 1366 desktop motherboards to add to the DSDT Database.

Please include BIOS version and any relevant information regarding what edits have been done. We're trying to keep the DSDT Database current, but we need your help to do so. :D

Evga X58 SLI Classified (E760) Bios 74 - I'm pretty sure this works with the X58 SLI Vanilla (E758) as well. Vanilla DSDT attached below; Edited DSDT came from this post http://osx86.net/f57/guide-evga-x58-sno ... 49055.html

I also have an edited DSDT that enables dual video cards (SLI), but it needs to be coupled with Aquamac's dual card string method. If anyone needs this, feel free to PM me.

I extracted this using the live CD Ubuntu method (I used an OpenGEU disc that I had laying around) and I am not exactly sure if I did it correctly, but here it is anyways.

If it's messed up, let me know and I can attempt to get another one.

Current MB:

-EVGA P55 SLI 132-LF-E655-KR
-1156 socket
-i7 processor
-4GB DDR3 RAM

Current BIOS:
AMIBIOS Ver: 08.00.16
Build Date: 09.09.09

Let me know if I missed out on something.

Thanks!

Jocelyn94,

I'm interested in changing my windows system into a hackintosh. I have the same mobo as you and used tonymac for building a previous hackintosh (gigabyte mobo). Can you help me since very few people build hackintosh's with evga x58 classified boards.

also, i have a ati 5870 so I guess i need iboot ati? did you use multibeast?

point me in the right direction please, thanks. :D

Hi tony and the staff

I make my big comeback on a Maximus Formula 1801 BIOS III.
I extracted the DSDT might get me patched (cpu fix, supreme x-fi, intel ich 10 JMicron etc ...)
Thank you in advance, I attached the DSDT for the post.

Hi everyone! First of all those are my sopecs.:

Asus P7P55D PRO (Bios version 1702) mobo
Intel i5 750 CPU
4Gb RAM DDR3 GSKILL Ripjaws 1600 F3-12800CL9D
MSI NX8800GT VGA PCI-E

I installed OSX by the method iBoot i3 i5 i7 supported + multibeast 2.1.4. Everything went fine until the moment i want to shut down the system, this one doesn't work at all, the display goes black but the fan still working and light in the front panel of my tower still on too. By the way restart works OK and sleep doesn't work. The system get into sleep mode but never wake-up...
I have extracted a DSDT.aml in Linux following the MacMan's Guide and upload here to find a solution to my solution for this problem. Probably someone could help me to solve.
Thanks in advanced.

This is for the ASUS Maximus III Gene motherboard. It's a P55 based motherboard with extensive overclocking BIOS settings.

This one improved upon the current one in the database because:
1. Sleep mode works!
EDIT: To clarify, the current DSDT will not allow the system to enter sleep mode (S3). This one will not only allow entering Sleep mode S3 but will also allow resume via a USB keyboard/mouse.

Do yourself a favor and use MultiBeast (awesome tool tony!!). I used the latest as of now (2.1.4) and you should select:
- UserDSDT (and pick this dsdt file)
- System utilities (all sub-items)
- Audio voodoo HDA official 0.2.2
- Disk (IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector and all 3 JMicron ones)
- Network Realtek R1000SL (for entire RL81xx family)
- smbios, pick any *one* core i5/i7 setting (doesn't matter if it's "imac" or power mac; with those if you really have an i5, select i5. If you really have an i7, select an i7)

Since I've a Radeon 5770, I had to also select (don't skip any of these 3 - your system will not boot!!)
- ATI 5xxx support (advanced options -> kext->graphics->ati)
- ATY_Init Vervet (advanced options -> kext->graphics -> enablers)
- com.apple.boot.plist "32-bit graphicsEnabler = NO"

store2000, thanks for posting this edited Maximus Gene III DSDT file. A friend and I have been considering using this board for a build. So are you saying that the DSDT that had previously been posted on this forum did not enable sleep? Interesting! Also, would you please post the bios version this DSDT was for? Thanks in advance.
