Hi Everyone,

Here is my set up:

ASUS P6X58D-E Mobo
Intel Core i7 930 Proc
ATI Radeon HD 4850

Currently i have this on a 500GB HDD with Windows 7/ Ubuntu 11 / OS X Lion

Everything seems to be working except:

- OS X Lion Drive is not bootable (Still using the USB device i Created to install)
- App Store error (Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact Support for assistance)

I installed using a drive i created from my Macbook Pro using Unibeast. Ran Multibeast to get the necessary files for my Audio and Ethernet. Here are the files used:

ATI 48xx Patch for 10.7.2
ATI 48xx Device Injector
Marvell88E8056.kext
Kext Utility

I also added the following to my com.apple.boot.plist which enabled dual monitor support all of sudden which wouldn't work before.

<key>EthernetBuiltin</key>
<string>Yes</string>

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What happens when you boot with Chimera?

Thats the bootloader in Multibeast right? Every time i try to use it i get to the Apple Logo on restart and it just keeps the scrolling circle below the logo but never goes into the Operating system. Any suggestions? If i can get this thing to boot and get the app store working i have a full guide prepared for a fully functional machine.

Boot with the -v boot flag to see if it will tell you what is hanging the system.

How can I do that when booting using unibeast

Boot from your hard drive with -v

Sorry man... I know this is newb stuff but i am unable to boot straight from the drive as i have no bootloader installed and i have to boot from the usb i made with Unibeast. It allows me to select the option but i don't see a way to boot -v.

Do you see the problem here? You know you have no bootloader installed, yet you say Lion is not bootable. Here's a suggestion to solve your "OS X Lion Drive is not bootable" problem. Install a bootloader.

That is what i am needing help with. Every time i try easybeast or chimera from in multibeast my machine is no longer bootable. I am needing help finding the correct bootloader or finding a way to recover after crashing my machine with the wrong bootloader.

Like I said before, boot (from your hard drive) with the -v boot flag to see if it will tell you what is hanging the system.

When the system starts and you are presented with the Chimera Boot screen, type -v and then hit enter.
