Hello,

I am looking for a DSDT for the ASUS P5Q Pro Motherboard (Socket775), and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on where to look?

Thanks!

(Using iBoot+MultiBeast, Snow Leopard, Intel Core2Quad Q8300 @ 2.50GHz, nVidia GTX 260, OCZ Gold 6GB RAM, Corsair Force Series 3 60GB SSD)

The DSDT database doesn't have DSDTs for older boards, you can try the Search function on the top of the page for your board and see if a patched one is in the DSDT thread.

There is also a program called DSDT AutoPatcher that some folks have had luck with.

Strictly speaking you don't need a DSDT, you can use the EasyBeast option in MultiBeast if you can't find a suitable DSDT

Did you look at:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/wiki/index.ph ... ent_Builds

"Asus P5Q PRO
Intel Q6600
GTX 280 (two screens)
M-audio Revolution 7.1
TP-link TG-3269
A-data 4x2G 800Mhz

ASUS USB-BT21

Crucial m4 128GB

FakeSMC
EvOreboot
NullCPUPowerManagement
NVClockX
realtek driver
graphicEnabler=yes
EthernetBuiltIn=yes
MacPro3,1"

The above is the closest to my build. If I don't have a DSDT, would I then simply need to install the drivers myself?

I suggest you download MultiBeast and take a look at EasyBeast....if you click on it, a brief description of what is installed appears in the box below:

EasyBeast is a DSDT-free solution for Core, Core 2 or Core i systems. It installs all of the essentials to allow your system to boot from the hard drive. Does not include any Network or Sound drivers or Graphics support beyond GraphicsEnabler. Includes Chimera v1.6.0 r1394, FakeSMC, LegacyAppleRTC, EvOreboot, AHCI_3rdParty_SATA, JMicron36xATA, NullCPUPowerManagement, USB Rollback, tonymacx86 Remixed theme. 32-Bit org.chameleon.Boot.plist and MacPro3,1 smbios.plist. Install with System Utilities tasks.

Your system should boot with only EasyBeast installed, then patch LAN, audio and graphics.
