I ordered an GA-H61M-S2V-B3 Motherboard but in the DSDT DB i only see F2,F4,F5 versions. There is a stable F6 version and a beta F7B version on the homepage.

So my question is if its ok to use the AML for F5 version on F6 version or its best to flash the bios with F5 version because some things wont work probably in the new version?.

Thanks in advance.

you might find that the dsdt for F5 wont work if your bios is @ F6.
the system might not boot into osx, then again it might!

im currently using an older dsdt than my bios version, and it works fine.
however on another board i had, it wouldnt boot with an older dsdt.

you could try making your own dsdt for the F6 bios, have a look at my sig for the guide.
personally, i would not use the beta bios

Thank you samisnake.

So the approach is to flash with F6, install Lion, extract the DSDT, patch it with my mb patch and use that file, am i wrong?.

Ok, I'll do that.
Thank you all for the help.
