determining FA/FB/FC/etc... Gigabyte x58a-ud3r

Hi gang, doing my first customac and im gathering the downloads and such as prep - following this install guide viewtopic.php?f=81&t=11465

my question is - im at the DSDT database & i know i have a rev2 but there are sub options under there FA/FB/FC/FD/FE/FF/FG and im not sure how to determine which is the correct one. any suggestions?

NOTE: i haven't powered the machine up yet. its built and ready but im trying to put all my ducks in a row first.

Whenever you boot you will the very first screen maybe second and at the top of the screen it should show bios info. Now I have the same board and I got the FF from gigabytes site and flashed to that. Flashing the bios is very simple just make sure weather is nice, so no power outage occurs and be sure to save previous bios on a flash drive or something similar.

i haven't flashed a bios since 1.44" floppy days; im assuming these days it can be done via flash drive? i downloaded the FF from GB site just curious about the delivery/install medium.

Yeah insert flash drive with FF on it. go to qflash on startup save old bios on flash drive, then flash bios to FF. Good Luck
